It's here! The Starbucks Christmas Blend, that is.
Every morning I get off of the train one stop early because it is more convenient for me to go to the Starbucks that is right by the exit. It's always sunny at 9:50am, and people everywhere getting to their offices, and Starbucks is always busy. I order my tall drip and am ready to face the day.
Last year was my first time tasting the Sbux Christmas Blend. I have never been able to taste differences between blends well, but this one is seriously good. Strong and a little bitter, but very smooth. Get it while it's in season!

YA get it while it's in season because the day after Christmas, even when you can see they have bags of stock in the stockroom, they won't sell it to you. Ya huh. I'm buying half a dozen 'n freezin'!!
Mom found another (of very few) friendly Starbucks yesterday! But, even more world-shaking: guess what has the BEST coffee? (not espresso, just regular old good coffee). My newest favorite hang-out: IHOP.

I'm not really hanging out there anymore. But in the week that I put the house on the market in early Oct., I went there about 3 times to hang out, relax, and eat. I LOVED IT. You know, the one in the U District.
Gosh, do they have IHOPs in Nippon? Just a curious wondering.
